Jayson laughed a little at that too. "Parents always say stuff like that but never mean it. They say grades won't matter but then you get one bad grade and they act like the world is ending." He rolled his eyes. He knew exactly what she was talking about, his parents were the same way if not worse. He loved making them mad, proving that they couldn't control everything he did and that they shouldn't even try.

"Yeah. So then I got bad grades in certain subjects just so they got mad. It was kinda hard though, because for some of the stuff I knew the right answers." Audrey was a pretty intelligent girl. But it wasn't always she let it show. It's better that way. I can fool everyone. That was another thing she like dot do. She wanted other people to think they knew the truth about her, when it was, in fact, a lie.

Jayson laughed when she said she got bad grades on purpose. So really she was smart just acted dumb? Well if that was the case, he didn't blame her really. If he actually was smart theres no way he'd let it show, people always expect more if you seem to be smart or anything. "I guess failing never was hard for me cause I never figured out the right answers and just stopped trying to." Yeah okay so he wasn't that much of an idiot, if he actually cared about a class he could figure it out in no time, but he never cared enough to pay attention and understand. "They always got mad at me for bad grades but I learned to just drown out the complaining, I didn't want to do better cause it'd be exactly what they wanted."

"I did stop for a while, but then I just seemed to grasp everything. I kinda don't like it, but at the same time I do. If that even makes sense." Audrey loved that she was smart, as she could prove people wrong a lot. But then they expected her to know things and such. "Yeah, exactly. They complained more, and I tuned it out. They figured I might start to change, but I hadn't even been listening to what they said to me. It's like they're complete idiots." Well, they are. Sure, her parents had high paying jobs, but that didn't mean they were smart. She thought they were quite the opposite.

"That does sorta make sense" he said, thinking about it for a second. "I mean I guess it would be cool to know you knew stuff others didn't, but I wouldn't let anyone know if I actually did get it, they expect a lot more from you and get a lot madder if you screw up. Which of course could be fun but..." He gave a light laugh at the last thing she said. "Yeah I know how that is. But they can't make you change, they should learn to just shut up or they're going to be ignored. They are complete idiots." He knew his parents were. So they were a little rich, and just a little that is, nothing to brag about in this town, that didn't mean they knew everything. Anyone who'd want the kind of life they wanted for him had to be a complete idiot in his mind.

Audrey laughed a little bit at his comment. "Making people mad is always fun though. It's one of my hobbies." She grinned, though it kind of was. She made anyone she didn't really like mad. "But my parents were kinda smart. They knew that if they separated me and my brother I'd calm down a bit. And I did. But when we hang, we're out of control." Audrey and James would party like crazy. Party, get pierced, play pranks on people; it was what they did.

"Wish I had cool siblings like that" Jayson commented. "My brother's worse than my parents and I already told you how bad my sister is. They're terrible. But I think if one of them actually was cool my parents wouldn't be smart enough to seperate us. They'd probably try everything else but the idea to send one away would never occur to them." His parents truly were idiots in his eyes. They knew nothing about how Jay really was, they just hated him cause of what they'd figured out through the school blantantly telling them (bad grades, many fights, etc.) That was fine with him though, gave him more freedom to do as he pleased and if they asked questions he just ignored them.

"Sometimes having a siblings you get along with can be annoying though. There are times you just don't wanna do anything and all they do is bug you about going out." Audrey listened to his next comment, feeling a bit sorry for him, but a bit envious. His parents wouldn't think to separate the kids, something she wished her parents hadn't thought of. "My parents ask the family for help though. And it was my grandmother's bright idea to send us away. I knew she never liked me." The last part was a bit of a joke, but she really didn't think her grandmother liked her.

"But still, it's got to be better than having siblings who are your complete opposite. It can't be annoying all the time like my siblings are." He listened to the comment about it being her grandmother's idea to send her away and shook his head. "I don't know if anyone in my family would've been smart enough to come up with that either. Maybe my brother, he would say to send me away cause he hates me." He shrugged slightly. "But I'm sure she doesn't not like you, maybe she just wanted to help your parents. Not that I think that's helping, but family members think stuff like that."

"I guess," Audrey replied, knowing where he was coming from. Having siblings like his must have been tough. They were always trying to bring you down. I would hate that. But Audrey would probably just fight with them and hurt them.
"I think she doesn't like me. At Christmas and everything, she would give me clothes that I disliked a lot. And she always gave me the clothes, and expected me to wear them. She would buy me tickets for concerts I would never go to." Audrey had received numerous pink shirts and tickets to Britney Spears concerts. She hated it. I ripped them up right in front of the bitch.
