Leaning back on his elbows on the bar table, Jasper looks around the club, finding the music playing slightly annoying. Usually he was the one out there dancing, but today he doesn't feel like it. Either Jas is in a bad mood or he's just tired, but whichever it is, he doesn't like it. Jasper takes a sip of his beer and tries to spot someone he knows to talk to. He came alone not telling anyone so he could clear his head. A lot of good it's doing me. I can barely think with all this loud music blaring out the stereo. He closes his eyes and decides it'd probably be a good time not to think and just drown all his worries and guilts by getting wasted and having a good time, but for some reason Jas can't get up off the bar stool.

The music all around was really starting to get annoying. At the moment he was still out there dancing, but only half-heartedly and only because he was so bored right now. But the dancing was getting quite boring too, maybe a drink would be better.
He oh-so-sneakily slid away from the random person he'd been dancing with and over to the bar, sitting down next to some guy who looked kinda familiar but he couldn't place a name to a face at the moment, possibly because he barely got a good look before turning his attention to the bartender and ordering himself a beer. Just as Jas is about to get up to find something-anything--to do, someone sits down beside him, and being the curious one, he turns to look. Turning his head and waiting for his eyes to fully focus, he sees Jayson. They'd talked a couple of times before at school or at the club.
Taking another sip, he says to Jayson, "Hey, what's up?" Jasper turns back to face the bar, glad to finally have something to do. I really hate being in these ruts. Getting down on himself really wasn't the best thing especially since it means he'll end up getting drunk, but right now he doesn't give a shit.

Jayson turned his head as the guy spoke to him and he realized it was Jas, someone he'd talked to a few times here before and he'd seen him at school. He took a sip from the beer that was sat in front of him before answering. "Just being bored out of mind." he answered, turning back to Jas. He was glad he'd spoken to him, he probably would've ended up drunk and probably doing something stupid, but what else was new? But now he had someone to talk to maybe he wouldn't be as bored and wouldn't end up doing something idiotic like normal. "You look bored out of your mind too" he stated.

Jasper grins, giving a small laugh. "That obvious, eh?" He takes a swig and leans forward, elbows on the table top again. "Yeah, for once, I'm at a loss for what to do. Dancing and getting wasted just doesn't seem appealing to me right now." Shrugging, Jas turns his head, glancing at Jayson. He casually asks, "What's up with you?" Jas wonders why Jay is just as bored as he.

"Yeah it's just a little obvious" Jay replied to the first comment, grinning as well. He shrugged slightly at the question. "Same thing I guess. Dancing with random people and getting drunk seems pretty boring right now." He shrugged again and took another drink then looked back to Jas. "Not much else to do though, guess I just got sick of it." Jay glanced around the club, and yes his idea was confirmed. Getting up and dancing didn't seem all that appealing at the moment, yet sitting here could get boring quickly as well. Well, maybe not if they could keep the conversation up that is.

Jasper nods aimlessly while saying, "Yeah, I know what you mean." His eyes gaze around the dance floor, then suddenly something hits him. Turning towards Jay, he plasters a casual, yet undercover sly grin on his face. "Though, I know something happening right now that could be slightly more interesting," Jas offers to him. I can't believe I forgot, and here I am sitting here, bored. His spirits have lifted higher than what they were a couple of minutes ago. He tilts his head towards Jayson and asks, "Have you ever been street racing?"

"Anything would be more interesting than just sitting here" Jayson intersected. He gave Jas a sort of curious look. "Have you ever been street racing?" he heard and immediately that curious look turned into a sly little mischievious grin that he tended to get alot. "Been, no" he admitted. "But wanted to go, hell yeah." Then he gave a little amuzed laugh. "We've been sitting here bored beyond belief and you just now remember that there's actually something fun out there to do?" But he had to admit, he was a little glad Jas had forgotten until he showed up, now he wouldn't be bored while Jas went out street racing.

Jas laughs, but relieved that he's interested and wanting to go. "A lot has been on my mind, but hey, now you get to accompany me." Drinking the last of his beer, he sets it down and starts to get up. "If you're lucky, you may get to race." He glances back at Jay, now standing, and adds, "If you're up for it."

"Well, that is a good plus for you forgetting." He drank the last of his beer as well, which it had been almost full but he still drank it in about two seconds. Then he stood and looked back to Jas in time to hear him say he may get to race if he was up for it. Mischievous grin again appeared. "Pretty sure I'll be up for it. Now you gonna stand there and keep talking or lead the way, since it was your idea."

Jas cheekily grins and leads the way outside. He pulls his suede jacket closer to him as it was getting pretty chilly. "Alright, my car's this way." He walks up to his black Camry and fumbles with the keys before finding the right one to unlock it. "The place isn't far from here." Jasper says as he climbs inside, shutting the door behind him. Ususally Jas never drives after going to a club, but he'd only had one beer, so he figured he'll be okay.

Jay followed him outside, noticing it'd gotten chilly out but he didn't mind, he liked the cold. He nodded at hearing that it wasn't far from here. Now a little confusion, was he meant to follow Jas or ride with him? He assumed follow, and was more partial to that idea anyway since it meant he may actually get to race if he was in his own car. "I'll follow you there then" he called to Jas as he fumbled for his keys and finally found them. Into his car and then slammed the door shut. He didn't even think about not driving after drinking, but it'd been only one beer (recently) and besides he was normally okay to drive. Or was that, normally he gave his keys up to whatever random person he went home with? Well whatever, he was fine. He had been drinking before he'd ran into Jas, but not that much, so he was perfectly capable of a simple little task like driving not that far.

Jas makes sure Jayson got into the car okay, and starts to pull out. He drives slowly so Jay could get behind him, then speeds up to normal. After taking a few turns, stopping at a light, then driving off into an alley, he sees a group of people gathered around their cars, cheering and shouting. Jasper stops at a good place, shuts off his car, and gets out. He shouts some "hello's" to the guys and waits for Jay to get out, leaning against his car.

Jay pulled out behind him, and kept the same speed as Jas basically the whole way. He followed until he saw people gathered around their cars and saw Jas's car stop. He stopped his car not too far away and shut it off as well. He got out, greeted by 'hello's from random people, or maybe they were more directed at Has but oh well. He leaned against his car as his eyes scanned the place and everyone already gathered around.

He looks around briefly before spotting Jay. Jasper walks over to him saying, "Let me introduce you to everyone." Jas brings Jay over to the guys and introduces each of them. One of the guys, Mike, said two people are just about to race; so Jasper leads Jay to the front to show him how it all works.
"It's pretty simple. You just go down that street and turn left to come back up this way." He points to the street ahead of them, points left, then points back behind him where the two cars end. It's a circular track. "Now, in case the cops come hurry and you're racing, there's another street that goes off to the right leading into a suburb."
He gives a closed-mouth grin, showing off his dimples, to Jay then turns back to the two cars getting ready to race. A blonde wearing a cropped top and short shorts blows a whistle, signaling to go. At that moment, the cars drive full-speed ahead.
