India stepped out of her mom's car and looked up at the house her family were now be living in. She was wearing one of her favorite outfit, with her sweater on and her hat was on her head. The house was nice, but it would have been better if it was back in her home town.
"Isn't it a beauty?" India heard her mom said. India turned her head to the right, to see her mom standing there. "But it would have been better if we moved in the summer or spring."
India rolled her eyes. 'It would have be better if we didn't moved at all,' India thought. "Yeah, it's real nice," India said to her mom. "But shouldn't we have stay in Thunder City?"
"Oh, India," her mom sighed. "We moved to get a fresh start. All of us. It's going to be great here. Just watch. Now, please help us bring stuff into the house." Then she walk away.
India watched her mom walk away to help bring in the furnish. Even through her mom said 'We moved to get a fresh start. All of us.', India knew what she really meant. They moved here so India could get a fresh start. Get away from the town her best friend die in.

Sydney walked down the street, dragging her feet. She was bored and needed something to do. She had gone out for a walk and taked her iPod along with her.
Sydney finally reached Hidden Meadow Grove. For All These Times - Lostprophets was pumping through her ears and she didn't feel as bored as she had before. She looked around, nothing seemed to be any interest to her.
Sighing, Sydney was considering going home when she noticed new people moving into one of the houses. She noticed there was a girl, who seemed to be a similar ago to Sydney. She slowed down slightly but decided not to do anything. They probably want to move into their new house. She thought.

India turned towards the moving van that was parked right behind her mom's van and walked over. "Need any helped?" she asked the movers.
"Not right now," one of them said. "But maybe later."
India nodded. "Kay." She walked over to her mom's van. "Want any help?" she asked. She watched her mom turned to face her.
"If you could bring your suitcase for now and then watched the younger kids and make sure they don't get in the way, that were be great," her mom said. "And take what ever room you want for now."
India nodded. "O.K," she sighed. She grabbed her black suitcase and walked toward the house. Stepping inside, she was in a small room were she guessed the coats and shoes were go. Then going to straight ahead, she was in the so to be living room. After off the living room was a bedroom and turning left, there was the kitchen. There was a basement, and the stairs to the basement was in the kitchen. The stairs to go upstairs was just off of the living room.
Going upstairs, India saw a doorway to a bedroom. Once she was on the second floor, she noticed 2 bathrooms, one on the right side, closer to the stairs and the other on the left side and farther down the hall. Walking, she saw a few other bedroom. One caught her attention. Walking in, she saw a small bedroom with two small windows that were side by side. She walked over to them, she looked out and could see her family. She let a smile form on her face. This was going to be her room. Putting her suitcase on the floor, she walked back downstairs and outside.
Looking around the new neighborhood, she noticed a person standing off to the side. India didn't knew her. She walked over. "Hi," she said.

Sydney noticed the girl walking towards her and pulled an earbud out just to hear a quick hi. "Hi." She replied, smiling politely. She looked at the girl, the first thing she noticed was the bluew hair. Alot of people have bright hair here. She thought, even though she was the one with the orange hair.
"The name's Sydney." Sydney smiled. She shoved one hand in her back pocket, unsure weather to put her other hand out to be shook. She decided against it and hung her thumb through her belt loop.
Sydney looked at the house behind them. She looked back to the other girl. "I'm guessing you're new here?" She smiled, even though it wouldn't take a genius to figure it out. There were moving vans in the road, and she could see car that was full of suitcases and boxes.

"I'm India," India said to Sydney. She nodded. "Yeah, my family....well, half of my family is mving here." India noticed Sydney's orange hair. "Nice hair." India heard footsteps on the snow and turned her head to see her little sister, Julia. "And this," India said, pulling her sister towards her, "is my sister, Julia."

"Nice to meet you." Sydney smiled. "Oh, thanks. You too." She said, complimenting India's hair. She looked as India introduced her younger sister. "Hi." She smiled to India's younger sister. Sydney had always wanted to have a little sister but of course she had been stuck with an older brother. Not that she didn't like him of course.

India nodded. "It's better then the blonde hair I used to have." Looking down at her little sister, she quickly added, "It just didn't word for me, but it works really well on Julia."
Julia just smiled and rolled her eyes at India. Looking at Sydney, Julia gived a small nod and said "Hi," before dashing away to play with her siblings.
India watched her go, then turned back to Sydney. "Julia can be really shy sometimes, but she's a great sister." And it was ture. Although India didn't alway like being the oldest girl in the family, she loved it most of the time.

Sydney thought about India with blonde hair. "Hm, it doesn't suit you like your blue hair. But it does suit your sister." She said. She watched as India's sister ran off to play with her siblings.
Sydney chuckled slightly. "I say that about my brother. He's sometimes kinda shy around people he's only just met, but he's like my best friend." She said. It may sound unlike other girls with older brothers, but she wouldn't know what to do without Josh.
"So, what brings you to Livingston?" Sydney asked. She shoved her hands in her pockets. She ran her fingers through the bottom of her hair, something she had been doing ofteb since she had it cut shorter than it normally was.

India smiled. "Yeah, I love my hair. It's so different." She heard Sydney talk about her brother. "He sounds kinda cool." She heard Sydney's question, and she bit her lip. "Well, a lot of bad stuff happened in my home town, so my mom's side of the family moved here. My dad is still in my home town."
She heard a loud roaring sound, and turning to see an old beaten car round the corner and stop right across the street of India's new house. She smiled as her older brother step out of the car. But her smile quickly disappear when she saw a tall blonde step out of the car too. It was her brother's girlfriend. India rolled her eyes. Her brother was a great guy, smart, funny and nice. But he's girlfreind was dull, dumb, and overall, mean to India and her siblings.

Sydney smiled, listening to India. She bit her lip slightly upon hearing about bad things happening in their old town. She decided not to ask what it was, incase India didn't want to talk about it. If something bad had happened in her old town she wouldn't want people to keep asking what, so she decided India probably wouldn't either.
Sydney heard a loud roaring and turned around, watching a car turn round the corner. She watched India smile as a guy stepped out and Sydney guessed it was her brother. But she watched the smile fade when a blonde stepped out. Who it was, she wasn't sure. Either way, she could tell that India didn't like whoever the blonde girl was.

Putting on a fake smile, India run over to her brother, but not before saying, "I'll be right back," to Sydney. "Hey, Ed," India said to her brother. "So you did come to see the new house. Old long how you going to stay."
"Not long, a week maybe," Edward said. He put he's arm around the blonde when she come to walk beside him.
India stopped and watched the two walk over to India's mom. Bitting her lower lip, she walked back over to Sydney, crossing her arms. "It's here," she said.

Sydney nodded. "Kay," She said, watching India run up to the guy and hug him. She guessed that he was her brother for sure. She watched India walk back over. She listened to her say something. "Erm..." She said quietly. India didn't seem to happy, but Sydney wasn't too sure why. "So, I'm guessing that's your brother?" She asked. She looked from India to the guy and back as she spoke, shoving her hands in her back pockets. She had a bad habit of doing that but the reason why she didn't know.

India nodded. "Yea, that's my brother, Edward. And he's nasty girlfriend." India sadly shooked her head. "I don't know what he sees in her. She's not nice, she's mean to me and my younger siblings. She only acts nice to my parents." She turned around so now she wasn't facing Sydney, but standing next to her. "Really, the day them brake up will be the happiest day of my live....well, one of them. It'll be in the top five, that's for sure."

Sydney listened, nodding. "That's why I'm glad my brother hasn't bothered to get a girlfriend yet. Although, she really doesn't look like the type of girl Josh would date." She said. She looked Edward's girlfriend up and down, somewhat surprised that the girl wasn't cold in the outfit she was wearing. "I'm not surprised she's two faced. It always seems to be the blonde ones." She said, slightly scornfully. Even though she hadn't met her she didn't like the sound of her.

India nodded. "Not all blondes. Back home, the one who was the meanest at school, had dark brown hair." She turned her head to look at Sydney. "What's worse, is that they're moving to Canada, so I can't even keep an eye on my brother." She sighed and turned her head, so once again, she was looking towards her family. She always wondered why her brother stayed with the girl. He could do so much better. "Well, until Ed realizes she's a big fake, I don't think I can do anything. I been trying since they started dating a year ago."
