There was no logical reason why her feet had lead her on the path to the woods on the outskirts of town, but she had ended up there after fleeing school, none the less. Pushing the tight tangle of branches from her eyes, she grunted in annoyance as a wayward twig scratched her cheek, no doubt drawing blood from the feel of it. Gritting her teeth she pushed on through the thicket, emerging into a more comfortable place. Trying to keep her thoughts on anything other than what she had just seen she sank down into the thick grass, ignoring the niggling damp feeling under her jeans that made her think she would soon be soaking wet. Reaching up she pulled her white hair out from the hair tie it had been encased in. There was something about having it around her shoulders that leant her the necessary comfort. Nibbling idly on one of her snakebites, she exhaled loudly, still unable to accept what Alex had been doing. Kiki thought she had known him after all.

Why was Audrey skipping class? Because she wanted to. Why was she skipping off-campus? Because she felt like it. The girl felt like she was definitely too smart for school. The challenges were never hard enough, and the subjects were never interesting enough. If they found out she skipped, she would simply tell them off. That was the point she was at.
Walking off school property, Audrey felt an urge to go into the woods. It was a quiet place, good for her to write or draw. Passing by miscellaneous stores, none catching her eye. I'm going to the woods. No where else. She was dead set on it. She needed to relax. School was pretty stressful, with the cliques and rumors and all.
Approaching them, she walked through the dead trees and bushes carefully, as she didn't want to get cut. People would just make up more rumors. As she got to the clearing, she saw another girl there. Someone she had seen around school. Audrey heard her sigh loudly, making her figured something was wrong. "Um, hey. If you want I can go. . ." She felt as though she might be an annoyance.

As she had suspected, being away from school helped, a small part of her wanted to believe that it was some healing power of nature, not that she was sure why she wanted this to be so. Imagine what she would have done if she were in lesson? It would no doubt have resulted in another argument with a teacher, if Kiki was wound up, she'd have to let go, and more often than not, someone at the school was the target of her agression. Another puff of air left her mouth, this was far more hostile than the last as a vivid picture, outlined in bright white light crashed into her thoughts. There was no way of denying it now. It was Alex. That, she was sure.
The rustling of undergrowth and dead foliage caught her attention and her neck snapped aroudn quickly, as if she expected to see the boy standing there, impossibly cute as always, snake bites winking in the winter light. Yet what she saw was not Alex, a girl stood a few feet away, from her school naturally, but no one Kiki was close with, though she recognised her. It was hard to be polite in situations like this but she hitched a rather glum expression on her face. "Hey... no.. don't leave on my account," she wasn't exactly sure why she wasn't telling the girl to leave her in peace, but hey, it might help to talk? And now that one of her closest friends had become avoidable at all costs, she might need some new people to while the hours away with. "I'm Kiki by the way."

"Okay," Audrey said, taking a seat near the girl. Yeah, I've definitely seen her before. She was pretty good with faces. Not so much names, but definitely faces. She was taken away from her thoughts when she felt how damp the ground was. Eh, whatever. I'm not going back to school anyways. "My name's Audrey," she said, a polite smile on her face.
The girl seemed upset, but as much as she didn't want to ask, she really did. It was a bad trait, but she was very nosy. I hate it, but it comes in handy so much. Her nosiness got the best of her, resulting in a question being asked. "You okay? You seem kinda...disappointed." She hoped the girl wouldn't lash out in anger at her. She was just trying to help.

Watching in silence as the girl sat down, she finally managed a more pleasant smile, after all this girl hadn't been the one in the closet with one of her best friends. Tucking a strand of white hair back into place after it had escaped hairspray, she glanced back at her. Of course she had seen her around, who didn't remember hair like that? It was no doubt impossible. Though she didn't think they'd even been introduced, and though Kiki wasn't an antisocial person, she rarely went out of her way to make friends.
Kiki wasn't deluded, she knew the slight smudge to her eyeliner, the lack of confidence in her expression and the sadness to her expression did nothing to make her look like a happy young girl, so the question did not surprise her in the slightest. Pursing her lips, she played idly with the inside of her snakebites, and awful habit that made the area below her bottom lip stick out strangely. "Yeah... I'm fine... I guess," a sudden strange urge over came her to spill her guts to this girl that she had never met, but how much of a freak would she seem, the girl probably didn't want her life story. "I just saw something.... wrong," the word fit so well in her opinion, and caused a slightly hysterical laugh to bubble up inside her.

Audrey saw the smiled Kiki had forced on, making her feel not so unwelcome. Though she still knew what was going on, that something wasn't right. It really wasn't that hard to figure out, the girl's looks and attitude showing it. At least she isn't being a bitch. Audrey just wouldn't be able to stand that. She would get an attitude back. It was just the way she was.
When Kiki answered her question, she was relieved in a way. It was as if a tension had gone away. Audrey raised an eyebrow at her response though. "Mind if I ask what?" If she had been coming from school, it could have been a whole bunch of things. Most things that you thought could happen in life happened at the school. The school is far from normal.

Violet eyes flickered closed slowly as she reached up one pale hand to scratch her eyebrow, avoiding the thick layer of eyeliner as easily as she avoided her eyes, you had to live with being sensitive about a large part of your face when your makeup was as elaborate as Kiki's or indeed Audreys. Opening again she resisted the urge to sigh once more and looked back at the girl with shocking pink hair.
At the question she hesitated slightly, suddenly overcome by the urge to spill everything to this girl, who she didn't even know, if she had been a more reserved girl, it would have unnerved her, but no doubt it would get out soon enough. "Not at all, I just had the pleasure of finding one of my best friends shut in a stock cupboard with one of Livingstones finest Royals," there it was, full of all the venom and sarcasm that was building inside her at the irony of the entire situation. Trying to take the anger from her eyes she shrugged slightly. "I don't think you need me to explain what they were doing?" Maybe she was over reacting? It didn't feel that way to her, even if she hadn't had feelings for Alex she would have been horrified at what had happened.

Audrey waited to see if the girl would answer. She didn't really expect her to, but she would like it. But that was only because she was nosy, a flaw of hers, and a big one at that. I just need to mind my own business sometimes. More like all the time, actually. When Kiki answered her question, she was a bit shocked. "Wow. No, yeah, I know what they were doing. And going by how you look, is it safe to assume this person wasn't another Royal?" She was shocked a Royal would stoop down that low, even though it really wasn't. Everyone was equal, just not in their eyes.
Her curiosity had gotten the best of her, and she couldn't control it. "Who was it? Well, both of them." it was possible she knew them. Audrey knew most of the people in school by now, simply because she had been there a good amount of time already. The longer you were at the school, the more people you knew, even if they had just arrived. it was a good thing though.
