"I need inspiration."
Avery muttured under her breath as she twisted a strand of her dark brown hair around her index finger. She bit her thin, pale pink lower lip, anyone could see that she was deep in thought. Her blue eyes were staring intensly at the practically ancient Baldaxette camera that was gripped in her hands. It was Avery Masterson's first week at a completely new town, and all she wanted to do was take photographs of everything and anything, screw making friends.
Avery was sitting on one of the several swings in the playground, her old tattered vans were letting sand slowly seep onto her feet but she didn't bother to shake it out. "Ughhhh!" Avery let out a frustrated yell, she hated it, absolutely hated it when she had artist block. She was open to take pictures of anything but didn't want to settle for the overrated tree in black and white or an empty swing, she wanted to snap a picture of something diffferent, unique. Several kids were just staring at her, trying to time just when to jump in front of her camera in case she decided to actually take a frickin' picture.

Audrey was sitting on a bench at the park, having nothing to do. Her digital camera was in her pocket, but that wasn't something she would use to take pictures of nature. It was more for pictures of herself. I don't think I have enough of those. Audrey had countless pictures of herself and her old friends, and they were pretty creative looking.
Her head snapped up when she heard a girl yell. Her eyes darted towards the girl, seeing a camera in her hand. Must be having some trouble, I presume. She hated when that happened. You wanted to take a picture of something, but you just didn't know how so it looked cool. Examining the scene a bit more, she saw kids standing around. Audrey knew what that was all about. They wanna fuck up her pictures. God, how she hated that.
Standing up, she walked over there, but more in the direction of the kids. Once she reached them, she said, "Get the hell out of here. No one wants you in their freaking pictures." They glared at her, then walked away, talking about her quietly amongst themselves. Turning her attention towards the girl, she smiled. "My name's Audrey."

Avery's head jerked up when she heard the girl's voice. She had been tuning out the whole world for several minutes and hadn't acknowledge the kids at all. The girl looked about her age, maybe even a year older. Avery studied her, she wasn't one to judge people easily but she definitely knew she didn't really hang with the popular crowd. It was easy to tell by her hair and just her basic appearence that she stood out. It was a good thing, actually, who liked to hang around with clones of one person?
"Oh Thanks." Avery thanked her with a slight smile. She glanced over at the littles kids scurrying along and shooting dirty looks at their direction. She was about to turn back to just staring at her camera when she realized that, that would be extremely rude. First impressions did last of course. "Sorry, I'm Avery." She introduced her self with a full smile.

"No problem," Audrey replied, seeing the little kids still walking off, sours looks on their faces. Idiots. I would have done something to them if they weren't so little. They didn't seem too young, but they were kind of tiny.
"Avery," Audrey repeated, listening to how the name sounded. "I like it. I don't hear it very often, and different is good." She smiled, hoping they could be friends. They seemed alike, but things aren't always as they seem. Oooh, a camera. I like photography.
