Aiden entered the courtyard with a sigh. His black bangs going against his face since the wind was in his direction. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked around. It was a little empt but not dead empty. He didn't feel like sitting down since he would most likely twitch a little from sitting to long. He couldn't really sit still for some odd reason. He paced back and forth until he couldn't stand no more. He went to a nice spot where grass was everywhere and sat down. He looked around and then put his head against the tree trunk. He closed his eyes and sighed feeling the nice dol air hit his face.

Audrey was bored out of her mind. How long could she really go without talking to someone? It wasn't like her to go very long. She was too outgoing, too nosy for that. She skated around the school parking lot, heading towards the courtyard. Someone was there 95% of the time. Getting closer, she saw someone. Thank God. She stepped off the skateboard, bending over and grabbing it as she walked nearer. The boy seemed to be relaxing. Did she really want to disturb him? Yes. I needa talk to someone. She walked up to the boy, staying quiet for a moment. "Hey," she finally said. I hope I don't startle him.

When Aiden's eyes were closed his hearing got a bit better and he heard wheels rolling against the ground. He tilted his head and then opened his eyes at the sound of a girl. "Hey," He looked at her and then crossed his legs answering her back "Hey." There was only one thing he was staring at and that was her hair. It was rather pink. He couldn't help just think and star at it. He shook his head a little before saying something. "Um. Nice hair"

Audrey was glad she didn't seem to startle him. She grinned at his comment. "Thanks. My name's Audrey, by the way. I'm a junior." She studied the boy, as she usually did this to people. Long-ish black hair, nice facial features, nice height, and not too bad looking. Most of the people she knew of were preps, so this kid was good. She hated the preps with a burning passion. But wouldn't you hate the people who tortured you when you were younger? This kid definitely didn't seem to be one of those types. He seemed a bit reserved, more so than tohers. That didn't bother her though. Change was good.

He made a faint smile. "No problem. Im Aiden and im a Senior." He watched as she started to stare at him. While she was doing that he was doing the same. He noticed her hair already and he took a look at her figure. It was a nice one alright but he wasn't going to say that. She seemed like a scene looking girl with the clothes she was wearing. He looked up at her. "So i see you skateboard." Not much of a talker now was he.

"Oooh, upperclassmen. Should I be scared?" Audrey teased, an amused grin on her face. He didn't seem like he would be one of the ones to taunt younger kids. She felt a slight breeze, hearing the leaves in the trees rustle. it was a nice fall day, something she hadn't really been expecting. "Hmm? Oh, yeah. I haven't been for long though, so I'm not that good. You skate?" She wasn't sure if he seemed like the type. Skaters were all different. Some were the populars, some were the emos, and some were even nerds. So, yeah, it was hard to tell.

He smiled "Nope. Im like a big teddy bear." He said crossing his arms. Aiden wasn't the one to bother people especially the ones younger then him. It looked and seemed pretty sad. He nodded "Sweet. Nope i never doen skateboarding in my whole life." He shrugged "I would rather sing then break a limp." He said ending it with a faint smile.

"I haven't broken a bone yet, surprisingly. Only split open my knee. It wasn't even that bad though." Though that was when Audrey had first started. She had gotten better, more skilled at skating. "But I'd probably pick music over skating too. Music is pretty amazing. It's, like, my life." She liked to write lyrics, and she liked playing guitar too. Though it wasn't her strong point, it wasn't her weakest point either. She had learned from her brother, and he was pretty good. "I used to go to concerts all the time."

"I haven't broken a bone yet, surprisingly. Only split open my knee. It wasn't even that bad though." He looked at her "That sucks. At least your accident wasn't as bad as others. Sometimes they break their arm or leg." He looked at her wanting to ask a question but didn't say anything since Audrey started to talk again. "But I'd probably pick music over skating too. Music is pretty amazing. It's, like, my life." He nodded "I sing. I find it quite relaxing if your in a bad mood." He the looked up at her "Me too. I find them kind of energizing." He then checked her over again "Are you a model. You look like one. Well your firgure."

"Yeah, I've seen people break their legs and stuff. I've heard the bone crack. It's weird as hell." Audrey had been at the skate park when these things went down. Once it was even her own friend. "I write songs, and I play guitar a little bit." She had her guitar somewhere at her house. It was somewhere in her messy room. She grinned at his question. "Well, not like officially, but me and my friends liked to take pictures, and most of the time they were of each other. So, like, yeah." She gave him another polite smile. It wasn't often she got the question anyway. Well, she had never gotten it before.

"Yeah, I've seen people break their legs and stuff. I've heard the bone crack. It's weird as hell." He nodded Wouldn't be cool to see a girl breaka limb. Parents might go crazy because you broke a leg." He smiled lightly at her comment. I write songs, and I play guitar a little bit." He nodded "I write songs too but i seem to have problems writing one right about now. I suck at playing guitar." He rubbed the back of his beck and pushed a piece of black hair away from his face. "Well, not like officially, but me and my friends liked to take pictures, and most of the time they were of each other. So, like, yeah."He nodded "Cool. So you write songs, can play the guitar, can skateboard and model. That's cool." [/blockquote]

"My parents would expect it. It wouldn't exactly drive them crazy." Audrey knew what her parents would do. They would just roll their eyes and take care of her. "I hate when I can't write. I bet you aren't that bad. You just needa practice." Practice makes perfect. But was perfect attainable for anyone? She didn't think so. "Yep," she said with a smile. "You know what I do, so, tell me, what do you do?" He would obviously answer. It was never a private question. At least she didn't think so.

"My parents would expect it. It wouldn't exactly drive them crazy." He raised a eyebrow "Wow that's kind of mean. My mother would have went crazy." Well the lady who took care of him in the orphanage. "I hate when I can't write. I bet you aren't that bad. You just needa practice." He shrugged "Yeah your right but most times im just brain dead. Kind o make my head hurts when i think about writing lyrics." He said thinking about those times he had major headaches. "You know what I do, so, tell me, what do you do?" He sighed "Well i don't do a lot like you. I can tell you about myself." He rubbed the back of his head "Im a orphan who was raised by a nun who i call mother. My parents died a day after i was born so i have no idea who they are and i have no idea who my other relatives are."

Audrey really did feel bad for him. Both of his parents were dead, and he hadn't even known them. "Wow. I feel so bad for you. But I know people probably say that all the time and it gets annoying after a while." People repeating comments all the time bothered her. She became annoyed by it. Maybe he's different. Not everyone's the same, Audrey, she argued with herself. "Parents aren't all that great anyway. Mine shipped me off here to live with my aunt and uncle. I was a pain in the ass, and they didn't want to deal with me anymore. Me nor my brother."

"Wow. I feel so bad for you. But I know people probably say that all the time and it gets annoying after a while." He smiled and nodded "Yeah it does get annoying but then again when you think about it it really does feel bad and some people actually care. So i don't really mind." Being different from others kind of sucked but hey he was still alive and his parents would rather habe him happy and then depressed all his life. "Parents aren't all that great anyway. Mine shipped me off here to live with my aunt and uncle. I was a pain in the ass, and they didn't want to deal with me anymore. Me nor my brother." He looked at her and sighed "Well that sucks. I would have ran away from them before getting shipped off. Kind of hurts that your own birth parents don't care much about you." Aiden didn't know that feeling at all but he knew it must have to hurt some how.
